Brezel is a bright and friendly girl who did well on her behavior assessment and loves to give hugs and kisses. She showed herself to be people-oriented and engaged. She enjoys human companionship and has the potential to form a strong, loyal bond with her adopter.
Brezel will benefit from continued desensitization around her food bowl, toys, and high-value chews, as she can be sensitive about people accessing her special items. Because of this, she
should not be placed in a home with children. With clear structure, positive reinforcement, and consistency, Brezel can continue building trust and comfort in these situations.
Brezel is looking for an experienced, understanding adopter who will provide guidance and patience. In return, she offers companionship, devotion, and the chance to build a meaningful bond with a truly special dog.
Meet Bulli: 3+ year old Male
Bulli is a handsome pup who is looking for a patient and experienced home where he can truly thrive.
During his behavior assessment, Bulli did moderately well overall and showed that he can engage positively with people he trusts. He would benefit from continued socialization and confidence-building with humans to help him feel secure and understood. Bulli may show some resource guarding behaviors, so he will do best with an adopter who understands canine body language and is willing to continue training using positive reinforcement.
Bulli may be tolerant of other dogs; a meet would be required to test compatibility. A calm, structured environment where he can be the center of attention will help him succeed. Life is a friendly and easygoing boy who is ready to find his forever home! He did wonderfully throughout his behavior assessment, showing just what a warm and personable guy he truly is. When it comes to other dogs, Life showed no aggression or reactivity, though he may be selective about his canine companions. A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs before adoption would help set everyone up for success.

Slip does have a lot of enthusiasm — he can jump high and with some force during play, so he would do best in a home without small children or frail adults. A little basic training will go a long way in helping him channel that energy into something even better!

Wilmington can get very excited and sometimes shows it by jumping high, pulling hard on the leash, or mounting when he becomes over-aroused. Because of this, he would do best in a home without small children and with adopters who can help guide him with continued training and structure. This spirited boy would thrive with an active family that enjoys spending time outdoors, playing, and helping him build confidence and skills.

Pierre is a spirited boy with a big personality who is looking for a very special person ready to help him become his best self! Pierre will need an experienced rescue or adopter who is prepared to work with him on training and desensitization around handling, restraint, play, and resource access. He has a low tolerance for frustration and can jump, grab, and tug on the leash when overwhelmed. He may also guard toys and chews. The good news — Pierre does great with other dogs!

Kansas is a friendly and easygoing girl who is ready to find her forever home! She had a perfect behavior assessment, showing just what a well-rounded and lovable girl she truly is. Kansas is friendly with people and gets along well with other dogs too, making her a wonderful fit for a wide variety of homes — including those with other furry friends!

Meet Barbie: 4+ year old Female
Barbie is a friendly girl who is ready to find her perfect forever home! She did well throughout her behavior assessment and is warm and loveable with people. She will initiate and become playful with tennis balls and rope toys. When it comes to other dogs, Barbie is a bit selective and would do best as the only pet or alongside a very calm and mellow dog. She would also do best in a home without small children, and will benefit from some training around food and high value items. Due to past trauma from animal cruelty, a house fire, and the stressful kennel environment, Barbie would do best in a quiet home where she cane decompress and start her healing journey. She is very kennel/barrier reactive so would do best in a home where she could be uncrated.

Blaze is a smart, energetic dog who is looking for a very special home that can give him the guidance and structure he needs to thrive. During his behavior assessment, Blaze showed that he can get easily overstimulated and frustrated, and he may respond with behaviors like jumping, mouthing, or grabbing at clothing if not properly redirected. Because of this, Blaze will do best with an experienced adopter or rescue who is prepared to provide consistent training,
structure, and socialization.
Blaze is not recommended for homes with small children or frail adults, but he does enjoy the company of other dogs and can be friendly in the right setting. With patience, careful handling, and proper guidance, Blaze has the potential to be a loving companion for the right person or family.
